WHAT IF ALL THE STEPS WE TAKE ADDED UP TO SOMETHING LIFE CHANGING?

Peace Band is a step challenge launching in January 2021.

Together we can cover the distance of the world (that’s 24,901 miles!) to raise money for War Child’s work supporting children growing up in conflict zones.

Pick your distance and decide how you want to take on the challenge.

Walk, wheel, run, climb, skip, or play football – however you want to get your steps in, it all counts! Go it alone or gather friends, family or colleagues and take on the challenge together.

Simply sign up and create your fundraising page and share with people you know who might like to sponsor you.

Make your steps count for children living through conflict.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

Step 1:

Choose how many miles you want to complete. Take on your own personal Everest or give up public transport and walk your usual journey instead!

Step 2:

Set your fundraising target. We recommend a target of £125 per person but you can change this to be any achievable amount for you.

Step 3:

Set up and customise your JustGiving fundraising page, and choose whether you want to set up a team or to go it alone.

Step 4:

Prepare to take on your challenge from 1st January 2021 and share your page with people you know who might like to sponsor you.

How you are helping children in war zones

In Afghanistan, ongoing conflict has left thousands of people with no financial security, and limited access to the food they need for their families to survive. As a result, thousands of children have no choice but to leave their education, their families and their homes in search of work. War Child local staff are reuniting children with their families, bringing them back to the safety of their homes. With your help, we can provide the support to enable them to stay there. Donations you raise will provide catch-up education classes, apprenticeships and cash grants to children and their families.
